The Scale in Perspective

Each morning, many people step on the scale—and the rest of their day depends on the number they see.
If they see a “good” number? 😊
If it’s not? 😢
Thing is, the scale is just one progress indicator. And any given weight provides just one data point.
Coaches know this. But clients? Not so much.
So one of our PN coaches embarked on an experiment to see how much their own weight would change over the course of just 24 hours.
“I wanted to show clients why they don’t need to get hyper-focused on any one moment in time in regards to body weight—because it’s an ever-fluctuating thing,” they said.
“I might weigh more today, but that doesn’t mean I won’t weigh less tomorrow or the day after that.”
How the Experiment Worked
During the 24-hour period, they stepped on the scale a whopping 10 times. As you can see below, their weight changed by almost 10 pounds, with a low of 182.8 and a high of 191.2.
Tip: Weight yourself at the same time in some conditions, with or without clothes. If you can't then don't bother.
